POLAND

History Beckons, Nature Inspires, and Hospitality Welcomes!

What is most interesting is usually well and truly hidden! In Poland, under the surface, there are real treasures to be found like fabulous caves, mysterious tunnels, multi-storey medieval cellars and even entire cities build by the military.
Nine cave systems, ten military sites, seventeen mines and tunnels and countless storehouses, cellars, dungeons and tunnels, the list of underground wonders in Poland is endless. It includes some wonders
on a European scale like the Neolithic mines in Krzemionki Opatowskie or the royal salt mine in Wieliczka that is under the protection of UneSCO.

Krakow – Poland´s cultural capital and the only town to remain standing during the Second World War in the country. The city has an impressive central market square and the beautiful Wawel Castle, which stands atop of a hill guarding the city. And if you like Krakow, consider visiting the Wroclaw, which also enjoys a vibrant club and bar scene.
Other old town urban layouts in Warsaw, Zamosc and Torun are also worth seeing. The capital, Warsaw, has gained recognition for the outstanding post-war restoration of its old town. Zamosc enchants with its perfectly preserved Renaissance buildings and Torun with its ubiquitous Gothic style.
The cities are joined in their magnifi cence by the Teutonic Order’s castle in Malbork, one of the largest Gothic fortresses in the world

Natural wonder of Poland is the Bialowieza national Park, the best preserved primeval forest in this part of Europe or the Muzakowski Park, a beautiful 19th century English-style landscape park that can be found on the border of Poland
with Germany.
The Baltic Sea boasts with many advantages over some of the Mediterranean Sea resorts. It provides large expanses of shallow water and wide beaches full of clean fi ne sand for children! You would defi nitely enjoy the Slowinski national Park which is a vast sand-pit along the coast. Some of the sand dunes here are large enough to be climbed and rolled down! The EU Blue Flag fl utters over several of the swimming areas. This is a guarantee of a clean environment, safety and access to the beach. The verage temperature of the Baltic Sea is between 17°C and 21°C in the summer
